James “Jimmy” Atkins is the Area Manager for the Southeast region at Mortgage Equity Partners. Jimmy has held management and leadership roles in mortgage companies across the US. He is a nationally recognized trainer who uses his experience as a top originator to develop new loan officers and build teams. He has implemented processes and procedures to streamline the loan process to make loan officers more efficient, allowing them to build their book of business successfully.
He has embraced technology throughout his career to support the sales team and simplify the homebuyer journey. He is a highly competent leader and one of the most knowledgeable lenders in the country. Jimmy is fully versed in all aspects of the mortgage lending industry. He has successfully grown and managed multiple high-volume branch partnership relationships.
