For the sixth year, Dave Holding, Vice President at Mortgage Equity Partners, will rise to meet the Pan Mass Challenge. Through injuries, training setbacks, and bad weather, Dave has persisted in his rigorous training. He will participate with more than 6,000 other cyclists traveling up to 192 miles on 12 different routes to raise money for the Dana Farber Cancer Institute.
The PMC has evolved into the largest athletic fundraiser in the country. Dave will be riding in connection with the Boston Bruins Foundation and every single dollar raised is donated directly to Dana Farber with no administrative cost deducted.
Mortgage Equity Partners, a mortgage lender with offices in New England and Florida, has again this year committed to supporting Dave in his endeavor. For every loan closed in July and August, MEP will donate $25.00 to Dave’s fundraising efforts. “We all have our reasons for wanting to support this cause and eradicate cancer from the face of the earth. I am proud to say that our company can support Dave’s fundraising efforts with this donation,” said Sean Riley, President and CEO of MEP.
“The PMC will take place on Aug 4 & 5th and is always the highlight of my summer and my year. I am always humbled and inspired by the support of family, friends and colleagues who rally together to raise money for this most worthy cause, the Dana Farber Cancer Institute. Together, we can do great things!” said Dave Holding. To support Dave’s fundraising efforts click here!
The PMC made a gift of $51 million to Dana-Farber in 2017, bringing its cumulative total to $598 million since the bike-a-thon’s 1980 inception. Dana-Farber staff are among those riding or serving as one of the event’s 4,000-plus volunteers, and more than 850 riders or volunteers are active cancer patients or survivors.
